“If you're following the rules of shooting video, doubling your frame rate for 30p, and shooting at 1/60th, then you really only need the ND16. ND8 is not strong enough for full sun, and ND32 is a little too heavy. ND16, when ISO is left on 50-3200 auto, will cover you from a dark room to full sun without going above 1800 ISO and without peaking highlights at ISO 50. However, if you prefer to set your ISO at 800 and rely entirely on NDs for your exposure, the heavier NDs will be appreciated. If you're shooting at 24 or 25p then the ND32 might cover you for the full day sun a little better. ”
